In Roman mythology, Janus is the god of beginnings and endings, transitions and doorways. He is often represented with two faces. Designed for the cosmopolitan user, and inspired by the squeezed spaces of Mumbai, the Janus table imagines how furniture can customise constraint.
Working in a variety of orientations, the Janus table can be disconnected to create three separate pieces that offer multi-functional flexibility to its users. Be it a bold statement pieces, or a set that ties the space together, Janus offers versatility in aesthetics, placement and storage.
Mid-to-dark wood tones with subtle warmth complement the cane and brass details. Avoiding extreme contrast adds a sense of comfort and quality.
