Hi, I’m Hrishita.
I am a multidisciplinary designer interested in cultivating joy and curiosity through objects, spaces and stories.
Leading with curiosity and care, I strive to create connections that lead to new ways of seeing and making.
My process is research-based, hands-on and user-centred.
Studying Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design, with a dual concentration in

About my process:
This series of images was discovered through microscopy. In my freshman year of college, I was building a map using found objects to document and learn more about the city that was my new home. The process begged the question: how might we engage more meaningfully with where we are? I often find myself returning to microscopy and this question.
This love for zooming in nicely summarises my approach to my work. Curiosity drives my process, and I’m drawn to what may be hidden or overlooked.
With details, textures and stories, I strive to layer form, function and context in meaningful ways for user-centred solutions. Blending a research-driven approach with wit and playfulness, my work exercises empathy, problem-solving and, often, worldbuilding.
I hope to tell a good story and build a more engaged world.
