Lighting
Developed at TEAMS Design in Chicago, where I spent the summer as a product design mentee. I worked with the team on various projects, building skills in market research, concept sketching, prototyping, 3D modelling, and learning how design consulting works.

Initially inspired by the structure and radiating glow of logs in a campfire, the design evolved into
a stylised pattern that reflects balance and symmetry.
With this project, I was eager to explore the transformative potential of laser cutting as a method. How does the fabrication method generate the design?
Using MDF, a traditionally rigid material, I was able to create a pattern that not only allowed light to filter through in intriguing ways but also enabled the MDF to bend and form curved sections.
